These guys have some of the catchiest songs ive ever heard. The clean vocal chorus' like "Bully", "Miscarriage", and "Unwelcome" will get stuck in your head after two plays. The scream vocals are amazing too; he has almost a raspy scream, but its amazing. Instrumental: I love the sound out of the guitars and drums. Very nice studio recording. The breakdowns... Heavy and just mind blowing. The opening song "The Fathers Seed" starts out with phonecall from a girl to a creepy sounding dude telling him that "Im Pregnant..." then their heaviest breakdown in the album. The album also features a song "Small Face" from their previous EP titled "Wife Beater". And no, its lyrics based on anti-abuse not for it. Again, with this album I will never skip over a track. Every song on "First Born" is ace. Though my favorite song would have to be "Unwelcome" or "The Fathers Seed". Overall, my favorite album of 2011 by far and so far.
